A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on 16 November last Friday to celebrate the opening of its Seoul office.
The ceremony took place with 200 people including Isagenix executives, staff, and independent distributors in attendance at the new Seoul office.
The company’s co-founders, Jim and Kathy Coover, made a special visit to the ceremony. It was their first visit to South Korea.
“Our vision is to impact world health and free people from physical and financial pain, and in the process create the largest health and wellness company in the world,” said Jim Coover, co-founder of Isagenix, during opening remarks at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“Korea is a very important market to us to achieve that vision.”
During their visit, the Coovers also met the Korean media to have an interview and the associates to discuss the business opportunity in future.
The Coovers are nationally recognized and respected leaders in the weight management and nutrition industry and have received many awards for their achievements. In 2017, Jim was named the CEO of the Year at the Arizona Corporate Excellence awards, and Kathy was named one of The Most Influential Women in Direct Selling by Direct Selling News.
Isagenix has been recognized for its achievements as well. It was named to the Inc. 5000 list 11 consecutive years as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America and was listed as one of the Phoenix Business Journal’s 2018 Healthiest Employers and Largest Phoenix-Area Corporate Philanthropists.
The new Seoul office officially opened its operation on 8 October, offering 10 products from weight management to health functional food.
